Hey there! Long time no see…

I am finally back from our camping trip… it was amazing as usual and I’ll have a post up about it soon.
After spending time getting everything back in order, I was able to sit down at this lil ‘ol blog {thank you again for following along!} before we hit the road again Friday morning! Anyhow, I’ve got a few cravings I must quench and these are my narrowed down must haves this week. You can bet you’ll be seeing a few of these in the near future…

3 Looks, One Striped Tee

OK, I’m not going to lie… I have a closet full of clothes, but sometimes the old, comfy, tried-and-true jeans and tee are all a girl really needs. I preach to my clients about investing in pieces you LOVE and STYLING them. That’s my job, after all. So this post is all about a favorite, old striped tee I could live my entire life in… and the ways to incorporate it across your wardrobe by changing a few simple things.

I wore this look the other day for some errand running and my 4th day of unwashed hair. Gross? No, actually it’s great for your hair, but that’s a whole other topic. Casual chic and super easy to get you out of the house quick.

You saw this look sometime back late winter/early spring…

Still that same comfy tee, a different denim, but I paired with a bright scarf to give the look a little pop and opted for nude heels.

And another option is to warm it up on cooler days with a great scarf and coat, but keep it chic with heels.

Plaid, a Vest, and a Playdate

The end of last week was a bit cooler than our previous high 80s, and living in the foothills of the mountains, we get quite a bit a wind that brings with it cool breezes. So while it was probably still high 70s low 80s in most parts of so. Cal, it was very comfortable for layering with a vest in my parts. And I was cozy and comfy for playing with my girl!

The wind has picked up around here and the days are a lot cooler. Or at least they had been. This fluctuating weather is crazy. Anyway, I’d been wanting to pull out comfy boyfriend sweaters and slip on shoes. Though I wound up having to take layers off mid day, this cozy look is perfect for when I’m chauffeuring Amélia to dance and play dates, and will probably become a staple this winter. My look is casual, but I’ve punched it up with some gold jewels to keep it feminine.

Finally, a cool enough day for boots! Most of the items for this look came from two of my favorite budget-friendly places: Old Navy and Target AND are staple pieces that seem to be on repeat as of late. The blazer is a staple in my closet, and you know I like mixing pieces into several outfits. I also love adding a little ‘splurge factor’ when I can, so the blazer takes care of that too.
