Shades of Grey… + an e-styling offer you won’t want to miss!

my 3 year old snapped this… might i say she’s becoming quite the photographer.
that face!
amélia also snapped this one. i say give her the camera and let her go. she may become my photographer in a few years!

It’s fall, y’all! At least until the end of the week when our temps reach back into the high 90s {ugh}. I’m scratching my head about that, but also soaking up every single minute of this cooler weather.
Over the weekend, the fam and I headed out to the pumpkin patch, and even snuck in a play date at the park without sweating our tushies off.
We passed on picking our pumpkins just yet so we can go back, but we had so much fun. Amélia road quads for the first time and even lapped some boys! Ok, maybe not quit like that, but she held her own and even shocked us with some pretty cool maneuvers.
The weather was overcast and crisp and just all around perfect, so what’s better than yoga pants when you want comfort? Leggings! I pulled out my comfy layers and went all shades of grey for our first real fall day in so Cal. I ditched the accessories for a pumpkin spice the hubs brought me; the perfect fall drink for playing in the park with my favorite little!
…………………………
Ok, for the exciting e-styling news! This month, I’m offering an entire e-styling package worth over $1,000 for just $29.95. Say what?! Tomorrow, I’ll post all the deets here, but if you want the info before then, head over to my Facebook page.

Playin’ with Pastels

Hello Monday… It’s another busy week for us, and still some sadness here. I lost my grandmother last Friday and though she’d been preparing for death for 10 days and we know she’s in a better place, it’s been very emotional. Not to mention explaining to a 3 year old, even after having gone through this last year with the hubs grandfather. We had a lot of much-needed family time over the weekend and are preparing for her services this week amid regular activities.
One of our daily routines these past few weeks is A’s swimming. It’s been pretty hot and seems my wardrobe as of late has been all cutoffs and tees. I decided last week to play a bit with pastels and gave my basic swim-mom uniform some intrigue and detail.
Hope the start of your week is finding you well!

Bright Kicks…

…and cutoffs. After such a fun week and weekend, it was back to reality on Monday. So to ward off any potential blues I chose some bright kicks to get me through a little morning errand running, and fun in the sun with my girl. It’s a hot one, so bright white cutoffs were in order too.
Don’t mind my windblown hair!

Serious Print Mixing

Whether it’s getting girly, edging up a dress, or kicking back in tennies, I love mixing it up. In this case, I did some serious print mixing by taking a laid back approach. Distressed denim is my go-to lately and you all know I’m head over heels for stripes. And to make an outfit interesting, it’s fun to add something that’s a little off when I can… in this case, I threw in the houndstooth scarf along with my stripes and leo.

What I Wore: NYC

To say we had a blast in NYC would be an understatement. I’ve said it’s my favorite city, and I’m standing by that claim… when it’s just me and the hubs? The shopping is incredible. But even now, with Amélia {and maybe a little less shopping ops} it’s still so amazing.

Anywho… back to what I wore. There weren’t many photo ops because 1) we were mostly bundled up when venturing out due to the frigid temps and 2) the hubs was super busy with the setup for Monday night’s pre-Super Bowl Macy’s fireworks event. {Did you see the fireworks? Those were ours!} and a project he’s working on for April! That left me without anyone to do pictures. If you were following on Instagram, you likely saw some snaps, so here’s another quick look at what I wore: NYC style…
