Mellow Yellow

Oh hey crazy weather, what’s up with rain one day and then 94º the next week?! You’re really making me want to layout by the pool and splash all day with my bug, but for now I’m keeping my cool in whites {which really I’ve been wearing since winter} and staying mellow with some pops of yellow!

I added some gold and this fabulous Aldo clutch to warm up the neutrals. Isn’t it perfection?

Winter White

The weather went from sunny and warm to wet and cold, which we really needed the wet! Just last week it was showing signs of spring, but the need to layer up once again reminds me it really still is winter! Sunday, we spent a relaxing day in, playing in the yard after it cleared up a bit and then with friends for a great dinner. I’ve been wearing my whites all winter, but I especially love this casual combo. And to make an outfit interesting, it’s fun to add something that’s a little off… Can you spot my one thing? Hope your weekend was restful and you have a great week ahead!

Going Nude…

…I’m a huge fan of mix-and-match prints, patterns, and color, but sometimes keeping it simple is a statement all its own. I’m loving some bright colors this winter and this blue is no exception. Rather than pairing it with another pop of color for a mix-and-match extravaganza, I went with shades of nude. Adding what seems to be my signature print {leopard} as of late, breaks up the look a little and draws the eye to the contrast of bright and muted colors. I think this was a perfect, relaxed look without overdoing it.
