Casually Outfitted

I can’t believe it’s Monday. Is it me or did this weekend fly by in a blink? Not to mention it’s March already and spring is on the horizon!

Speaking of that… the doors to the spring Style Me session are now open! Go here for more info and get registered before the doors close.

For today’s look, I’m keeping casually outfitted and spring ready by styling neutrals {yes, leopard is a neutral} with a pop of perfect blush pink.

Style Note: From blush to brights, when paired with a neutral palette, pink is such an attention grabber. You can be bold in even the softest shade of pink with such classic color palettes as blacks and camels.

What’s your go-to color for spring?

Game of Thrones-Inspired Workout Hair

nike tank // reversible workout shorts {similar} // nike running shoes {similar} // garmin
I’m all for function when it comes to working out, but a fan of ponytails? Not particularly. I will wear them, don’t get me wrong, but I’m really particular. Generally they’re just too plain for me, but I definitely like to get my hair up and out of my face, so I decided to take a regular functional pony tail and add a twist. I’ve recently become hooked on Game of Thrones {spent the first 3 seasons catching up and finished the most recent season with the hubs.} It’s no secret I LOVE braids, so here’s my Game of Thrones-inspired workout hair…

Bright Kicks…

…and cutoffs. After such a fun week and weekend, it was back to reality on Monday. So to ward off any potential blues I chose some bright kicks to get me through a little morning errand running, and fun in the sun with my girl. It’s a hot one, so bright white cutoffs were in order too.
Don’t mind my windblown hair!

Wednesday Wish List: Shopbop Sale

Hey lovelies! I’m getting over the hump today with a little Wednesday Wish List and Shopbop’s sale. It helps, too, that I’m super excited for another trip I’m privileged to take to NYC next week {more on that later}. Obviously, it’s one of my favorite shopping meccas of the world! Today’s list, though, has a lot of great stuff that’s easy to pack for a quick getaway. I’m seriously wishing I could have #7 in time to leave since we’ll be spending quite a bit of time in Brooklyn :/
Oh yeah, did I mention the bug isn’t coming… I’m excited to shop till I drop {because lord knows I can’t do that with a tag-a-long toddler}, but I’m also nervous {because I’ve never left her for longer than a few days} AND I know I’ll miss the heck out of her. But I’ve been spending my days soaking up time well spent together and I am ready for a little get-away and me time. Happy hump day!

Fitness Wear… My Picks

Well, somehow I wound up leaving a few a my favorite pieces of running wear in San Diego a couple weeks ago (major sad face), but I have several things on my wish list that can make the replacement!

When it comes to my fitness wear, I’m all over the map. If it fits right, feels good, and doesn’t leave me with that unsightly ‘camel toe’ or not enough boob coverage, I’m a happy camper.

It’s no secret I love Target, and I’ve found that they meet my needs when it comes to running wear, so you’ll see a lot of their activewear on the list. Nike is one of my other go-to’s for fitness, and I’m in love with their shoes.
