I feel so lucky to do what I do! I love styling and though I would say that most of my week is made up of being a stay-at-home mom, I so love the days I get to work shopping and styling beautiful people! 

Last week, I spent one of my days client shopping, and the other doing a little outfit planning at one of my favorite new boutiques, Shop by John Michael Villa. There’s big things in the works, and I can’t wait to share with you!

In the meantime, I wore this outfit to his shop Thursday to browse the collection, pick up a few pieces and plan our next big collaboration! Stay tuned…

Winter White

The weather went from sunny and warm to wet and cold, which we really needed the wet! Just last week it was showing signs of spring, but the need to layer up once again reminds me it really still is winter! Sunday, we spent a relaxing day in, playing in the yard after it cleared up a bit and then with friends for a great dinner. I’ve been wearing my whites all winter, but I especially love this casual combo. And to make an outfit interesting, it’s fun to add something that’s a little off… Can you spot my one thing? Hope your weekend was restful and you have a great week ahead!

NYE Inspiration

Two blog posts in one day? There isn’t some blogger rule against it, I hope! It’s been so busy around here with Christmas and all the festivities, but I’m catching up. I can’t believe another year is almost gone, and 2014 is RIGHT. AROUND. THE. CORNER! I’m feeling a little lucky this year that the hubs doesn’t have to be at a New Years fireworks show. I never really do anything spectacular on New Years Eve because of that, and now that we have no plans? I’m still not doing anything spectacular. But I’m totally OK with that. We’re spending a few days relaxing and recuperating at the beach house and I’ll be going pretty casual. But, I’ve got some great NYE inspiration, whether you dress down for a more casual look or opt for super glam style for a night on the town. I added a few photos from my Christmas Eve Style post because I loved this outfit so, so much and think it’d also be perfect for a dressy, fun NYE night.

Christmas Eve Style

Every Christmas Eve, we spend it with my hubs father’s side at his great nana and papa’s. This year there was definitely a huge hole with the loss of his papa early November. The night was great and we had a lot fun, but I’ve got to say… that man had huge personality. Though he was the only one missing, for me, it felt more like 10 people were missing. He is certainly missed and the loss of his presence is more than noticeable, but the evening was really a nice one. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas filled with love, family, friends, and blessings!
